The application is basic but very good for tracking purposes and the ticker is excellent.

For a paid program with an above average sticker price this is below average in my opinion. Also, the quotes displayed on stock pro sometimes are different (lagging) from what is displayed by my online brokerage accounts. More latitude on background colors would be nice. I’d prefer a darker background that is easier on the eyes. So would the ability to overlay charts for comparison. I see the claim for the ability to compare 5 stocks at once but couldn’t tell you how to do it…even a search in help brings no matches when the word comparison is entered. Or perhaps an option for purchase pricing gain/loss. Lastly, PLEASE stop asking me to review your app. Adding a review box that wouldnt go away without an answer is obnoxious. What’s even more obnoxious is when I answered the box that wouldn’t go away I auto-linked to a contact Chimp Studios webpage that lacked a submit or send button! There was no way to send in my comments to Chimp Studios after their pushy insistence on my feedback. That’s sloppy and very telling. Wanna be pushy and obnoxious for a review with a below average product? Here it is. I am sorry I purchaesd Chimp Studios Stock + Pro.

I love the ticker. How it can be plugged directly into the task bar is a huge plus! Great app!!

the App is not working on Mac anymore,its taking long and not working properly.This was the only app I was using,But not anymore.Fix it!!!Fix it!!!!Fix it!!!!

From all the stock apps out there, this one is the best i have used. The ticker is easy to read, adding stocks/commidities is very easy. And getting historical data is a great feature. i constantly have it up watching gold/silver prices, created alerts, etc. I have seen NO issues running this on an Airbook and 10.10.2.

Clean, clear ticker. Unobtrusive, smooth scrolling and nifty. You can position it wherever on your screen - although the menubar option is not to my liking but you can turn it off as easily as well. If you want to hide it from your fellow colleagues, run it on another desktop :) If I were to suggest an additional feature without sacrificing simplicity, please provide a click and drag to one or the other direction to start scrolling in that direction. Best stock ticker utility I have seen for sure.

Works great with my MacBook. Works as advertised. Worth the money to get the pro edition.

A nice, user friendly program with potential to be even better. I believe it is being updated. I would like to see the simple, straight forward nature of the program continued, but with some simple bottom line buy and sell signals added for the different time periods provided by the charts. This should be done by keeping in mind both short and longer term investors as opposed to day traders.

The nice thing about this app , they are always trying to get better , works well for streaming , has a lot of nice features … Had it about 2 years..

I have been using Stocks + Pro since mid-December 2013, and I am very pleased with the improvement progress by the developer. Based upon this progress, I rate v2.4 now at 5 Stars. Back in December, I would have been inclined to rate the app with 3 Stars (more precisely, 3.5 Stars if allowed). Since my initial install, I’ve had numerous email exchanges with the developer wherein I offered specific recommendations. Updates 2.3 and now, 2.4 incorporated several of my recommends, along with others the developer already had on his To-do list. My experience with the developer is he’s very open & responsive to input, and where it made sense to him, he incorporated the change(s) in the next (or, future) update. I now find Stocks + Pro, as a stock research tool, an excellent value related to the price and features. I highly recommend this app since I anticipate the developer will continue improving Stock+ Pro. Note: Apple’s current rating system limits how I’d like to rate. If I was rating based upon a 1 through 10 (10 the highest), Id rate this app currently at 8 as I anticipate forthcoming updates to eventually achieve at true 10 rating. Update 8/3/15: I’ve updated to v3.0, and I find this update (an upgrade, really) a major step forward in the app’s feature development. Stock + Pro v3.0 now provides a robust foundation whereupon further, stock analytical tools can be built. Based upon my alternative rating, I now rate this app a 9.0, but fast approaching a solid 10. ...v3.0 remains an excellent, 5 Star MAS app.

Looks ok, but too slow to load the charts. Always see the “Loading…” message.

I had the old version, and was shocked to see it automatically changed, but the new version is very impressive! the “Heat chart” is “the HEAT!” Allowing an awesome quick reference that saves a lot of time! Be sure too read the OS system requirements, and enjoy.

Stock + Pro V3 is what an Apple product should look/feel like. A very impressive application & an excellent, solid value.

Just wanna help. if you search in app store for “futu”, you will see this chinese stock app being offered for free, try it, because it is by far the best stock trading app. I supposed you can check it out and make improvements to your stock+ pro app as you see fit.

This app continues to add new analysis features and is on the path to being a 5 star app. I look forward to the next update. The effort being put into the development and power of the app shows. Keep up the good work!

Very basic but does everything I need EXCEPT Popular Stocks does not show Gain/Loss. I’d give it 5 stars if it did.

I paid for the full app, and cant even open it now becasue they havent updated it to work on el Capitan.

I’m rating this app at 3 stars but it’s more like 2.5 right now. To get to 4 stars, the developers need to ensure that quotes are correct (they’re not always, even after the market has closed) and charts display the information specified by the user. For example, when I specify 1 day, I often get a chart with several years’ worth of data. The fix is *sometimes* to click on another time period, then back to the one I wanted in the first place. Also, when I click 1D and move to another security, I’ll get the chart for Max. This is a programming problem, typical of a V.1 app, which this is not. To get to 5 stars, the developers need to document how the app works in the first place. That means producing an online manual with screen shots, as well as making instructional YouTube videos. To the developers: Help your customers!! They also need to polish the user interface. I would guess the UI is the product of a software engineer who fancies himself a UI designer. Finally, is this a $30 app?? Not until it’s grown up. If you can get this as part of a bundle or Two Dollar Tuesday and put up with an immature product in the meantime, go ahead. If you pay full price, you will be disappointed.

I emailed the developers and they added some features I needed! So great that they listened and acted on customers needs and feedback! 5 STARS!

Stock +Pro is great but still not quite everything you need to monitor markets and make investment decisions. What it does do is done well. It provides the charting tools I find most useful, and use most often, It has the chartiing style choices that most people seem to want, and it is pretty easy to figure it all out and get a list of stocks set up. I have not yet tried to input all the protfolio information that prepares it to monitor your portfolio performance. However I plan to try that out. I gave it four out of five stars because I think it is good enough to deserve praise, I can imagine Stock+ Pro eventually becoming the platform for a tool as powerful as Telescan. That development would require this forum to provide more stars than the available five. Buy this app, there is nothing better outside your imagination.
