This app is amazing.. So intuitive and all of the needed information is on one screen.. Love it!

I’ve bought into a number of advisory services, a number of publications, and participated in graduate-level conferences and seminars on the stock market and economics. In my view this is the best and easiest to use stock market tracking and graphing system I’ve ever seen. (I hope this accolade does not cause them to raise the price.)

Stock-Pro provides me with timely updates and allows me keep an eye on the up-and-comers. The charts are relatively accurate and the ease of entry is great. I’ll most likely upgrade when one becomes available.

Ive used a few different versions of this and the updates and add ons are few and far between. I dont know what these “developers” do all day except blog about what they have coming in future versions that never come. This app only shows the basics and has nothing of use. Ive spoke to them plenty of times before about it. He is rude and will tell you he is working on it. I could have changed the code myself easily 1000 times already. I doubt they ever think twice after their app is released except to find people to write positive reviews about their crap app.

Charts are not sufficiently detailed and varied. Information is limited to standard news. No access to analysis, company website, or publicly available reports. No commentary.

This app is awesome for tracking stocks. It is so simple to use and simple to view stock performance and historical charts. I especially love the menu bar ticker. I have Stock + Pro setup to start with my Mac without opening the window just for the menu bar ticker. When I am ready to view the detailed performance of various stocks I will then open up a window. I also have to give enormous credit to the developers for avoiding the rating trap that most Mac app developers seem to add. You know… the constant requests to rate the app in the app store. It is a nice little button in the corner that is out of the way so you can simply focus on the stocks. The only con I could say about this app is that supposedly there is a way to see news on a particular stock. It took me a week to find it hidden underneath the stock charts and you have to pull it out. Other than that one little step that I never saw mentioned everything else is so easy to use.

Very well designed app. If you track a small to mid-size portfolio, this should easily meet your basic needs. Clean and simple UI, useful news aggregation feature, plus a teeny, tiny stock ticker. Make the stock ticker HEIGHT resizable along with the width and it would easily be 5 stars for me.

This ticker is very good, especially the ticker on the top. However, and this isn’t a small concern for day traders especially, they don’t have volume shown in real time. This small ticker along with the other features would beat the other applicaitons hand down. Still, for my purposes the ticker is worth the price of admission.

Just wish it would still run when safari is open. when safari is closed it runs and runs well….but not with safari open. Other than that its a great app. Please change to run while safari is open and ill change it to 5 stars.

Up grading to the new version was a huge mistake and I will be looking for another app to replace this. I freezes and does not work at all. This is a real waste of time,

Real time quotes. Customized to my interests, and all news feeds as they come in. Love it!

You cannot simply click on a stock in the list with the mouse - nothing happens. You must navigate to another stock in the list with the cursor keys on keypad. No clear that htese are real time quotes either - probably 20 minutes delay.

Works very well. Best replacement for the old Macticker. Very responsive tech support — with answers. I know the program will keep getting better, just based on their tech support. I reccomend it.

The menu bar ticker display has a gnarly bug when you try to adjust the width or speed. It crashes the app and you have to restart. Also, the slider to adjust the font size is always greyed out. Please fix!!!

It’s not complicated, but has lots of permutations, if you are a more sophisticated invester than I. Easy to use and very helpful graphs allow estimation of a company’s trends helping one making investment decisions.

I use this app to get a quick read on my investments. It does the job very nicely. Dev’s do a great job updating the app on a regular basis. I never have had any issues with the app’s functionality. MacBook Pro Retina - OS X Yosemite 10.10.2

Nothing negative to report. Recent updates made it more customizable and it looks better than any other that I’ve used.

I love this APP I am in my 80s and my MIND is cloudy at times. I cant think of anything this App needs for some ONE who has a portfolio or Future $ ideas. The ticker tape will keep track of all. It makes investing more fun. I am only using  v7 LION, right now but it does all the tricks. I have the stocks I own and also ones that I hear or read about installed. Its colors look very professional and I cant think of any way it could be improved. I love the Ticker Tape and tried all of the options and couldnt figure what else it needs. Even tho I am, dumb as a rock, My friends are impressed. It installed very easy, I had some items that didnt work at first but it was because in my haste, i just had to recheck some other boxes. Directions were very good. I think THIS may be the BEST BUY in the APP STORE. I liked the way they did the directions, Step by step. Just what i needed.

Fantastic little app, it would be perfect if it would be possible to show the ticker on a locked screen.
